30 Day Portrait Challenge: Part 1

I decided to shake things up a bit and take 30 day watercolor/gouache portrait challenge. They are far from perfect, but just experimenting with different techniques and mediums. I’ll be posting the results every few days.

6 x 9 in. On 140lb white watercolor paper, unless otherwise stated.

Day 1: Bob Kelly from BUCK #1, 1968. Watercolor

Day 2: The incomparable Al Parker. Gouache

Day 3: One of my favorite vintage porn stars , Eric Stone. Gouache on Tan toned Mixed Media Paper

Day 4: Based off a photo by Covet Image Photography. Watercolor

Day 5: Norman Johns by AMG, 1949. Watercolor

Day 6: Based off a photo by Troy Shooneman. Gouache
