About

Kyle Anderson is a homoerotic artist based in Brooklyn, NY, exploring what happens when porn intersects with art; When art intersects with voyeurism. Working with either live models or drawing inspiration from vintage erotica, he looks to see how men express themselves when placed naked and vulnerable in front of an artist. His work embodies what turns us on, what turns HIM on, and where exactly he fits in a broad landscape of sexual kinks, fetishes, and desires.

Alongside his friend Lena Green, he established the homoerotic art collective, Doable Guys, the goal of which is to create a space to celebrate the male form, where artists of any gender, sexual orientation, and skill level are not only welcomed, but celebrated.

He gets inspiration from trailblazing homoerotic artists such as Tom of Finland and Bob Mizer, and also from the colorful and playful works of artists like Shag, Keith Haring, and Mary Blair, but his main influences and inspirations are taken from his fellow queer artists he is lucky enough to interact with daily.

Kyle’s work has been displayed at the soho project space and c’mon everybody, as well as being in the permanent collection of the eagle nyc.
